DESCRIPTION:
The SPE Motorsport Injector Return Repair Kit is designed to replace the problematic, brittle factory injector return line nipple which can break down overtime. Due to the sheer size of the return line nipple, it is also a common breaking point when working on or near the factory upper fuel filter.
When the OEM nipple breaks while driving or under pressure, the fuel system will spray fuel under the hood which can cause a fire hazard and renders the truck inoperable until repaired.
The SPE Motorsport Injector Return Repair Kit for the 11-16 Powerstroke includes an injector return manifold which features a reference port for diagnostic use (i.e. fuel pressure readings, etc.) or for a fuel pressure gauge. It also includes an injector return body, quick connect fitting, and custom designed nylon retainer inserts and o-rings for a factory-style connection.
For the 17-21 Powerstroke the Injector Return Repair Kit includes the injector return body, custom designed nylon retainer inserts, and custom o-rings for a factory-style connection.

The npt fitting on back needs thread sealant when when installed. I was unaware if this. Save urself some time and put some on. Great products.

Amy helped me with an issue and was SUPER Awesome about it! The dealership broke Injector Return Adapter doing an oil change (quick disconnect clip) with a recommended fuel filter replacement (was near due). She helped me narrow down that it was the return adapter. I have also the CP4 Disaster Prevention kit installed (ordered both about a year ago and installed). I thought they had busted something off that, turns out they didn't
She was very patient and helped me to eventually narrow down the part. Mind you after about near 2 months of talking and back and forth with the dealership. Got it resolved with her help in less than 2 weeks of communication (had to relay info to the dealer).
Look up customer service; Amy's picture is there, swear to gawd man. As I stated to her in an email; customer service like that and the employees and community is better for it.

Unit arrived with a 1/8 inch plug for 1/4 inch hole. I luckily had a 1/4 plug in my toolbox. I assembled all the pieces and Installed the unit and it works like a champ.

Easy install. Loosen the fuel line bracket on the firewall. To slide a little more fuel line towards the filter. Its a really tight fit if you don’t.

Crazy easy install. I'm no mechanic and it took me less then 5 minutes to slap it on. Nice solid product with some weight to it. Much better than the flimsy factory part. SPE does it again! Making insurance parts that make sense.

Super easy to install I would recommend if doing this install or doing the disaster prevention install getting underneath the truck and sliding both fuel lines that run up the firewall just a little bit in the upper bracket to give you some more slack inside the engine bay . Helps a lot not putting so much pressure on the fittings. If you lay underneath the truck driver side and follow your fuel lines up you will totally see what Bracket I’m talking about

I definitely like this product. I added a little bit of blue loctite to each of the barbed fittings and Teflon to the plug. Everything snapped into place just fine. Only difference is the new fitting is slightly longer than the old one. So snap the fitting onto the hose first before snapping onto the filter. Other than that this is a big improvement over the stock plastic fitting.

This fuel line adaptor is great and great quality. But on my 2020 F450 the fuel lime is too sort for this unit to work. on this truck Ford has UPDATED to a 90* fitting off of the fuel filter. I am sure there will be a work around for this shortly.
