If you failed to catch Jeremy Jarrett’s Super Duty in action at UCC, you missed out. His regular cab Super Duty put on an absolute clinic during Saturday night’s wild burnout competition. The New Hampshire based, Rattlebox Fab owner’s F-350 has been traversing the country, shredding tires. Notable stops thus far have been SEMA, Mustang Week, and Ultimate Callout Challenge. Jeremy showed up to battle in Indy rocking a few SPE updates under the hood of his 6.7L Power Stroke—and he didn’t disappoint. The short bed Ford mixed it up with a sea of 6.0L Power Stroke and Cummins competition.

Ford Performance just made the Godzilla swap conversation a little easier. The updated 7.3L V8 Power Module pairs the 2024 Super Duty 7.3 gas engine with a 2021–2023 Mustang 10R80 automatic, plus the control pack and accessory drive pieces needed to make the combo more complete. It’s rated at 430 hp and 485 lb-ft, which makes it a pretty interesting option for Fox Body restomods, older trucks, and off-road builds where torque matters more than high-rpm.

As if last weekend in Indianapolis wasn’t electric enough, Firepunk Diesel is bringing the Seventy 2 Fast race program with them to the NHRDA World Finals in Texas. There, a guaranteed $100,000 cash payout will be on the line for the winner (note: $70,000 went to First Place in Indy). Look for another 100+ purpose-built trucks to show up at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis come September 25th in what will likely be the largest World Finals (competitor and spectator) turnout to date. As the creators, developers, and owners of the Seventy 2 Fast name, branding, and format, Firepunk aims to work with promoters to bring this exciting new racing format to the masses.

If P-pumped 7.3L Power Strokes are your thing, Tommy Hassler will provide all the entertainment you need. The mechanically injected, 7.3L V-8 monstrosity in his Twisted Addiction: King Ranch Edition puller is alive again, and it went on the hook this past Saturday at the Beast of the East event in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. It’s one of several Power Stroke powered Fords campaigned out of the Hassler Diesel stable. Look for this cut tire beast to roam around on the east coast this summer, with a possible stop off at the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza in August.

6.0L Power Stroke owner, Steven Sawor, joined the Elite Power Strokes list for his recent efforts in the eighth-mile. Back on June 7th, Steven sent his crew cab Super Duty through the ‘660 in 6.6 seconds at 105 mph. Perhaps even more impressive, he did it on fuel alone (no spray) and at a weight of 6,875 pounds. Factoring that race weight into the equation, the 6.6-second pass more than backs up the 1,025-rwhp he made last fall on the Northwest Dyno Series SuperFlow at the Hub City Dirt Drags. And when you look at his trap speed, the HP calculator shows more than 1,100 hp made it to the wheels…

Josh Moore and the folks at Full Throttle Diesel have set a new high mark for 10-speed Allison equipped, ‘20+ L5P-powered GM HD’s. Despite only sporting a 10mm CP3 to supply a set of 200-percent over Exergy injectors, enough fuel, air, and bottle was on tap to set a new 10L1000 record. As far as air goes, an S480 feeds the factory VGT—and on this particular pass a healthy shot of nitrous was provided, along with All In Truck Performance’s Neal Driedger handling driving duties. Full disclosure: AITP also tunes the late-model Silverado. It cleared an incredible 1,314-rwhp on the rollers.
