The SPE CCV Internal catch can is designed to be an integrated oil/air separator similar to an external catch can. It removes oil molecules from the crankcase vent vapor.

Description:
Removes oil molecules.The SPE CCV Internal Catch Can (ICC) is designed to remove oil molecules from the crankcase vent vapor while utilizing the void internal to the 6.7 Powerstroke valve cover converting it to function as a catch can. This part gives the customer all the benefits of a catch can with none of the downfalls. Unlike other catch cans that require external mounting or necessary draining, the SPE CCV ICC requires neither. With the SPE CCV ICC there is a notch cut in the baffle so when positive pressure is released (ex. the vehicles turned off) and the oil can drain back to the pan. This creates a no maintenance design with all of the positives of a catch can.
Engineered Design. The SPE CCV Internal Catch Can was carefully designed to ensure minimal pressure drop across the baffles. See figures 1 & 2 for more details. This allowed for basically no restriction in air flow while still filtering the oil from the vapor. This also helps greatly in diminishing smell and oil droplets.
Perfectly designed. It wasalso taken into consideration that some customers may have another brand CCV reroute kit on their vehicle. The SPE CCV Internal Catch Can was designed to work with almost all kits on the market, although its design and flange shape does compliment the SPE CCV reroute kit the best. The SPE CCV ICC is a great option for high performance applications with high crankcase output/ flow or customers who just want to reduce smell or vapor output.

SPE never disappoints! I ordered the CCV reroute kit and the CCV internal catch can for this project. The install was straight forward after watching a few YouTube videos. That said, it was not a drop in fit but modifications were fairly easy. Remain patient while filing down the catch can, you are creating a custom fit. Once the fit is perfect, this system works flawlessly. I waited 9 month to write an honest review and I'm very pleased with this product! No more crank case pressure, no oil drips, and a quality crafted product. Highly Recommend!

I had to do a good bit of grinding (as prescribed) to make it fit. As simple as looking to see where it makes contact and grind away. Finished it with a belt sander and blow gun.

The materials seem good. I did have to file down a considerable amount off of the sides to make this fit. I pulled it out and filed it down probably 6 or 7 times before it would sit flush. The instructions said this is due to irregularities of the Ford castings. It gave me an uneasy feeling filing down a piece of metal and then putting it into my motor. I hope I removed every possible bur. I also did not receive the heat shrink that was in most of the YouTube videos I saw about this product. It doesn't list the heat shrink connector in the materials anymore. I also wish the SPE label on the hose was cut to where you'd be able to see it. The closest I was able to get the label was on top of the brake booster. Oh well. All in all I am happy I was able to get it installed.

I feel this is much better alternative than the stock CCV. I couldn’t seem to control the petty oil leaks but once I removed the factory stuff and installed the reroute kit the leaks stopped. Install was super easy. Get it if you haven’t you won’t regret.

Works great, nice product, I have no oil drips and hardly any smoke coming out. Probably the best CCV delete on the market. Only complaint is shipping takes way to long. I understand everyone’s shipping is delayed due to the plandemic but in stock parts shouldn’t take 5 weeks to ship. I highly recommend the product though.

CCV delete kit still smokes the same with the SPE catch can installed but hopefully it will stop the oil drips. Quick shipping and good fitment of a quality built part. I just don't think it's a needed item. A real catch can needs to be designed for these trucks to stop the oil mist cloud in my opinion.

Nice piece, only thing I suggest is you clean up the edges after machining so wouldn’t have to but seriously not a big deal for me but for the money it should slide in any truck like a perfect glove. Just nit picking it really is a nice product.

Pretty simple install. Just had a little filing to do on the edges. But that was explained in the directions. I've noticed a lil less vapor coming out the hose. Will give it a lil longer to see if there is still any oil dripping. My truck has 305,000 miles on it so it may not stop completely. But hopefully it will decrease at least. Always great parts. I bought the ICC and the fuel drain valve together and it was shipped very fast as well. Thanks SPE

I did the whole CCV re route kit with this internal catch can, this kit replaced another kit from another manufacturer is was not happy with. this kit works great and seems to end the drip of oil the other kits allow. Another great mod from SPE.

I installed this ccv internal catch kit last week on my 2012 6.7l superduty. I did have to file fit it to fit into my valve cover. I think i spent 1/2 hour to fit it to my satisfaction and install the ccv kit also. This meaning i spent roughly a 1/2 to 3/4 hour to remove old ccv and install the new spe catch can and spe ccv kit. Very high quality parts. I am a professional mechanic (30+ years)and appreciate a well designed and thought out product. I haven't experienced any oil leakage out of ccv hose at all after 200 miles or so of driving. On a high mileage truck (260+ miles). I highly recommend this product from spe

Seems like a nicely built product, installed the ccv delete kit also. My last truck 6.0 diesel when I ran the ccv to atmosphere would end up with a small puddle of oil. This doesn't seem to be a problem. Seem to do what it's supposed to, I did have to file down the sides a bit to fit it in all the way, but the instructions explain this, so wasn't a big deal.

Great quality product again from SPE. Worked flawlessly with existing CCV Reroute kit. I've already noticed reduced scent while stopped and same with vapor (depending on air temp). The only reason for a 4-star - it has only been installed for 4-days. Looking at some other parts to increase the reliability of my 2017 F350 from the SPE team.

I’ve only ran it for a couple days but have had no issues. I am watching to see how the performance is with stopping the little oil drips from my CCV hose. The competition “baffle” is at the bottom, very basic plate with holes drilled into it. SPE’ ICC has an extremely thought out design to keep pressures low while catching the oil twice before it goes into the CCV. Nice design! And vapor is much less noticeable with the ICC.

I purchased this and installed it a couple of days after installing the SPE reroute kit. It cut the visible smoke down by a noticeable amount. And the install was super easy. No leaks at all. Very happy with it!
If I could offer any criticism I would say the machining on the upper portion where the oil drains back down had some burring on it. I cleaned it up with a deburring tool in less than 60 seconds.

Easy to install once you get the factory CCV out of the way. Fit and finish is excellent. I bought this at the same time as the CCV delete so I can't comment on if it makes the smell better. I did notice a very light constant vapor flowing from it while the truck is running but I have not smelled any oil fumes.
