The charge pipe was fairly easy to install and better design and materials than the OEM one I removed. It is also easy to remove, I replaced my intercooler shortly after installing the charge pipe and installed a sep ccv reroute/internal catch can and a sep disaster prevention kit. The disaster prevention kit was the most difficult to install, not the kit itself but because of the poorly designed Ford components I had to remove to install the disaster prevention kit. The sep products were all well engineered and of top quality materials, thanks SEP.

The parts supplied to install the pipe all went together well. It might be helpful to have a bracket to relocate the fuel filter bracket a little bit. It was a very tight fight getting the hose onto the new adapter. Thanks to the thoughtfulness of design i was able to make it work. The folks at SPE are amazing and their products are high quality!!

Replaced an aFe pipe with the SPE Motorsport pipe because the aFe pipe kept blowing the boots off since installing the SPE pipe Iāve gained a tenth in fuel mileage and the performance is excellent truck runs better and the boots donāt blow off.

Like the way it looks and next I will be putting on the SPE piping kit to go with the hot side. To make it easier for others I tightened the clamp before I slid the piece onto the turbo.

Components installed on a 2020 F450. Have been monitoring data on a Bank iDash for some time now and thought I had a great running truck with only 22k on the clock. However, after installing both the cold and hot side CAC tubes, I now have a better throttle response and significant increases in boost pressure. These psi gains are at much lower EGTs than ever before. Even seeing 9-10 psi under engine brake on, deceleration conditions, flat Florida ground, with a nominal 18k load. In summary, must have had a leak somewhere with a faulty o-ring and must have picked up flow efficiency with the larger diameter hot side. Either way I think this was money well spent. Will by more from SPE. *Install tip ā add a little of that dielectric grease not only to the o-rings but to the silicon hose ends for much easier installation.

Easy install however I suggest you install and tighten the turbo side sleeve before clicking it in. It can be rotated once installed. Great item!

Multiple dealers telling me my 2016 f250 truck is fine with not holding boost and getting avg 12 mpg. I swapped out intercooler pipes, now it holds boost and get an avg of 18.5mpg. Great replacement part even if your truck runs perfect. Would even recommend to ford for future models to include.

Nice product. Watched a video and picked up on some helpful tipsā¦dry fitting and getting clamps oriented just right on the turbo side with the collar oriented as so the retainer clip is accessible is important. I just happen to be now taking off both upper and lower intake in order to clean and change turbo oil tube and coolant tube, so found it easier to remove the hot side to get the upper intake off, so being i orientated the retainer clip, it was easy to pull back off. I highly recommend this product. Only downer is no window sticker!!!

Hot side pipe went in with no issues. Instructions were ok, you tube had quite a few videos so I wasnāt concerned. Definitely makes the engine bay look better, and I donāt have to worry about the crappy stock one failing.

Great product much more increase compared to the factory. Again parts are great quality. Set some time aside when doing this one. The hose clamp to the turbo is a time consuming one but I recommend doing dry fits before tightening all down.

Nice hose replacement. But make sure you follow torque spec on clamps. Nuts easily strips on T-bolt. Had to reuse one of my original clamps because they are a little beefier.

Nice product. The fit wasn't the greatest, it is jammed up against the intake horn. I had to take a screw driver and shove the clamp in between the intake and the new pipe boot.

Great upgrade to the 6.7 while keeping things mostly stock. Replaced the cold side pipe after it burst and several months later decided to do the hot side to match. Glad that I did! Not only do the parts look great but it has also greatly improved throttle response and seeming improved MPG slightly.

Hot Pipe Side....2017 F-250 install. Excellent machining on all parts. Fit is excellent....tight on some of the clamps but still very nice. Hardest part was removing the clip from the OEM coupling...you are able to turn the coupling which will help you tremendously and you will need a Long thin flat head screwdriver unless you know a diesel mechanic that has the 2 prongs that will aid you in your quest to remove that screwy clip...this in itself took 1 hour to remove after reading all instructions thoroughly. But, once removed the install is easy. Fitment needs to be thought out....you will need to install on clamp on the aluminum coupling and tighten it onto the hose prior to putting it on because you will not be able to once the coupling is clipped on. Then have the base put on first. Overall, very nice!

Little hard to install since the boots are new and thicker and space is tied but managed to make it. A little soap and water helps a lot to move the clamps around. Nice tide fit, looks great and the truck responds better. Hot and cold side should be replace for a better performance and a peace of mind. Great product.
