2011-2019 Ford SuperDuty F-250/F-350/F-450/F-550 6.7L Powerstroke
The 6.7L Powerstroke has a thin-wall steel line running from the coolant/thermostat crossover manifold to the heater hose. It’s not uncommon to see coolant weeping there, specifically where the heater inlet tube meets the crossover manifold. This is due to both the metal properties, making it prone to corrosion, and the poorly fitted o-ring and tube design. Additionally, any time there’s EGR work, turbo work, or any other movement of the tube, leaking is more prevalent. This is mostly in part to the flawed design of the tube. With the SPE Heater Inlet Tube Fitting Kit we have resolved this issue.

Awesome quality and has a perfect fit. Suppose to be used to clamp onto the hard coolant pipe but I deleted the hard pipe for a much better look!

The part fit perfectly. No issues with installation. I would greatly recommend purchasing this part with the emperor kit. It would have saved me a few days. After installing my emperor kit the only issue I had was a small drip of antifreeze. I drained the system a couple times bought new O rings and the drip never stopped. Then I decided to purchase the SPE part.
Great fit. No leaks and don’t have to worry about it rotting out. The factory metal pipe was already rusting at 5k miles.

Definitely better than the leaky stock one. Love how they designed this!! Pure quality and you can tell they take pride in what they make.
Easy 20 minute install. A good preventative mod while your coolant is already drained from other maintenance or mod installations.
My stock fitting is still in good shape so I have not drained the coolant to install this YET. That being said, it’s a high quality machined part and based on other experiences with SPE parts, I’m CERTAIN it will fit perfectly.

This part is very well made and takes care of the cheap setup that ford used on the metal coolant pipe. Install was extremely easy, and was a great way to get rid of the cheap seal on the OEM setup that was leaking on my at only truck at only 75,000 miles. Would definitely recommend this to anyone that has a 6. 7 powerstoke.
