The S550 stock rubber bushings are great for absorbing noise, vibration, harshness (NVH), but do nothing for performance applications.
Eliminate wheel hop by attaching the cradle to the chassis the way it should be for performance applications. The SPE Motorsport S550 GT Stage 2 Cradle Lockout Kit is designed to nearly eliminate cradle bushing deflection, which is one of the biggest causes of wheel hop.
SPE’s billet aluminum upper bushing lockout rings capture the inner bushing sleeve and the outer lip of the bushing cup on the cradle (front). The lower lock out arms capture the bottom of the bushings’ inner sleeves. By capturing both parts of the bushings’ inner sleeves, all movement is nearly eliminated. The integrated alignment design reduces the cost by eliminating the need to purchase Delrin alignment dowels as needed with competitors' kits. The Cradle Control arms tie the cradle to the body which also helps with eliminating all deflection. By tying the cradle to the body this also helps stiffen the chassis and create a more predictable car. The billet arms are low profile and solid, unlike other flimsier tube designs. This also offers a great jacking point to work on the car. NVH (noise, vibration, harshness) is not increased.
Installation can be completed with simple hand tools.

It’s a shame this cradle lockout isn’t Very well known, I didn’t know it existed till about a month ago and I’ve been in the coyote game a while. I Love that it uses a stepped aluminum cup design on the rear lower bushing where the competitor uses a cost cutting U shaped piece of steel. Fitment was perfect, I didn’t have to do any kind of prying. The Anodized finish closely matches the fire red anodizing on Baer brakes. The braces are incredibly sturdy and are just chunks of billet aluminum, it’s surprising the kit doesn’t cost more. I will recommend this lockout to my friends over the competition.
