In order to keep the plug from easily slipping off of the OBII port I needed to added some black electrical tape doubled over the flat spacer bar found in the plug. With just the slightest touch it would fall off. I tried picking it down some before slipping it on but to no avail. The electrical tape did the trick though. I wish the lettering on the plug was white so as to stand out more as I don't think most people will pat attention to the writing on the cap as it is. Keeps the dust out :-)

The emissions plug is a great way to keep moisture and other contaminants from getting into the ECU. I will say that the plug fits extremely tight and is made very well which will ensure that the plug opening will not corrode or get wet.

This product is a one and done piece. The alternative product is a 100 dollars in plastic caps, and while they might be nice, it’s a little excessive. I like the fact that I can unplug my emissions harness in order to preform maintenance, and can put something in place of it to protect the ecm.
