The smaller the pulley gets, the more belt grip matters. SPE’s CNC Convex Knurling is designed to increase grip as belt load and boost demand rise without unnecessarily chewing up the belt during light-throttle driving. When you step into 2.6-inch and smaller pulley territory, SPE also offers fixed and adjustable auxiliary idlers capable of adding up to roughly 270 degrees of belt wrap.More boost is useful. More boost without belt slip is considerably better.
