SPE Motorsport is proud to finally introduce our upgraded intercooler/intake piping kit for the 6.7L Powerstroke. This kit replaces the restrictive factory plastic upper intake and cast aluminum lower intake. SPE has developed our kits to cover 2011-2022 trucks. The SPE piping kit includes all polished aluminum piping, cast aluminum Y manifold, 5-ply silicone couplers, t-bolts clamps, and hardware.
The SPE cast aluminum Y manifold has a true 3” internal diameter, unlike the rest of the kits on the market, along with cast-in injectable bosses and the use of factory style o-ring gaskets for ease of installation and replacement. The cast Y manifold is available in raw or micro-wrinkle black powder coat.
The cold side pipe is 3.5” diameter, unlike the more common 3” seen in most competitors' kits. This not only helps with flow but also gives your engine bay a bolder, tougher look. SPE also includes a welded on billet IAT bung so that it can be installed and used as the manufacturer intended. This, too, is not commonly seen in competitor's kits. In our experience, this is an integral part in collecting data and for PCM functionality.
With so many customers already having cold air intakes previously installed, SPE wanted to make our kit so that you could use that investment and not have to sell or get rid of it. We include a high quality rotomolded adapter that cleanly connects all stock and aftermarket cold air kits to your turbo with multiple adapter options based on turbo style and truck. This piping kit is an excellent match for the SPE Emperor Turbo System.
It gets even better. If/when you decide to change turbochargers, you will just need to purchase the appropriate Lower Air Intake Adapter to fit the new turbo you're installing.

the 6-7week wait time was beyond ridiculous.
The only other complaint is the band clamps need to be longer.
Preferably all of them. It was Beyond frustrating that the cold side band clamp.
(Yes I used the appropriate ones for the turbo and “Y” pipe.)
And I wish there was a bracket to use for the power steering reservoir.

Fitment was great and looks really good sits close to the powersteering reservoir but dosen't look like it will be a problem you can hear the turbo a little more and my egts went down and boost went up and so did my mpg really happy about the kit and highly recommended it

I ordered this kit and knew going into it that the delivery time would be longer than normal. It took just under six weeks to receive my kit at which point I was very disappointed. The intake y was full of casting sand, aluminum shavings, and the black coating had a couple of relatively large chips. I emailed SPE and they had me a new intake y in the mail the next day. The new intake y was in much better condition however the black coating still had a small chip. I decided to go ahead with the install anyways. The fit of the kit is quit good and required no plastic trimming. The SPE intake design definitely improved throttle response and top end power in my case. My only complaints would be that the t-bolt clamps are the absolute smallest size that would work making them much, much harder to install than if a slightly larger clamp would be used. Finally the Allen head bolts look nice but are much harder to install/torque than a traditional flange bolt. The difference is significant enough that I’ll be purchasing stainless metric flange bolts to replace the provided Allen bolts in the near future. Otherwise I’m content with the customer service provided by SPE and the intake kit works as designed.

Install was pretty straightforward as long as your reading correct instructions!! Once I cut the top air inlet of the dual boost gt32 turbo per the instructions everything went on and fit great. Thanks SPE for rereleasing this to fit the 11-14 turbo trucks so I can buy and build my truck in stages!!

Kit is awsome…I sanded the cast down as I like the glassy powder look and didn’t want the coating to be rough. improvements that could be made, provide longer mounting bolts for the intake mounting.provide larger clamps for the intake boots, other than that the install was super staight forward and fitment was great.

Kit was very easy to install. Love the look of it. Could tell a difference with peddle response on first test drive. All I can say is wow. Run a lbf tune that would hit a little smoke when doing heavy Acceleration, that has gone away. Can on assume from the extra air the motor is taking in now. The SPE kit fits perfect with S&B cold air intake. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get rid of clunky plastic intake.

I have a 2011 F550 4X4 6.7L powerstroke from factory they tune the engine down to 300 hp.
Truck pulled ok, I installed the intake kit, pull’s real good, no tune on it yet, but pretty happy with it now, if you want top shelf product SPE is the place ! you want to buy cheap shit from someone else, that’s what you will get!!

Looks nicely engineered only two problems I had was #1 didn’t receive my raw piping and hot side pipe kit until 6 months after ordering it not sure why but who knows #2 went to install it and got everything taken apart to find out that the EGR has to be off the truck for the Y pipe to fit with MAP sensor installed so had to put everything back together so not sure if it performs better yet.

Everything looks perfect! It’s a great upgrade to the truck. Three of the banding straps were too small and wouldn’t fit over the hot side boots. Had to get some from the hardware store. But other than that, everything was great

Kit is nice, As others have said the cold pipe pushes on the power steering reservoir (I think every manufacturer has this problem) would be nice to see a small bracket that helps relocate the reservoir over a few inches. And also at idle my dipstick tube are vibrating like crazy, maybe a stiffer dipstick tube bracket to help with this. Overall it's a nice looking kit, easy install.

Great product with excellent quality and fit. They only thing I changed during the install is the Y-horn mount bolts from Allen cap screws to stainless bolts, I like the finished look of the cap screws but just had a hard time with the back ones. Being a helicopter mechanic I didn't want several different sized bolts. Very minor issue.

I just installed the intake kit not too bad to install the clamps are a little bit tight tolerance but overall very happy. Also installed a outside intercooler pipe the coolant line cleanup kit, upper radiator hose, low temp high flow thermostat, disaster prevention kit and injector return repair kit. I have purchased pretty much every SPE product that is produced for my 2019 F-250 and I have to say, their products are phenomenal. I really like the kit. I had trouble with oil dipstick tube and getting it to fit just right. I ended up finding direction on SPE website. After following the advice on the website it fit perfectly.

Love the products from SPE. The Y bridge intake manifold plus the hot and cold side boost tubes are a much better product than factory and look a lot better as well. engine bay cleaned up nice with this addition. only down side to the kit was the T-clamps are a bit short which makes getting the nuts started a bit of a pain with everything being so congested in the bay. Have yet to take it out on a road trip but I am sure ill see lower intake temps and have a little faster throttle response. Thanks again for the great products and keep coming out with new and better additions.
